I already owned a fair amount of Purbeck stone slabs, some forming dry-stone walls & some laid to pathways, which were smothered with weeds.
I asked Greenfingers to dig out the far corners of the rear garden & lay these to paving, to lay proper steps to enable access, to lay a path to the patio & then to dig up the lawn & lay AstroTurf instead.
Zac sent the team to do the work and they were amazing! In addition to what we agreed, they also removed a lot of plants plus a lilac & an apple tree, pruned two others and drenched the soil with weed-killer. Zac also suggested replacing the wall with oak sleepers to free up more Purbeck stone & laying gravel between the stones to cover the cement. Additionally, they have installed wooden hand rails to make life even easier for me.
The whole job took three weeks either side of Christmas & I am totally delighted with the results. Sadly, the wild garlic is already popping up here & there – you can never kill it- but I would recommend Zac and the team to anyone & every one. Thank you very much.
Greenfingers are a local company since late 2017 I have work closely with on a number of projects across Bournemouth and Poole. Greenfingers were first introduced to me after a landlord has tasked the company direct to complete some gardening work. The professional impression I received on site turned into an trail use of the company on some projects I needed to complete.
Since then I have used the company of a variety of jobs for clients and have not had any complaints or experienced poor workmanship.

“My front garden needed an overhaul and as I have used their excellent mulching products for many years I thought I would ask Greenfingers to have a look at my project.
These days many ‘service’ providers work to their own schedule and not that of the customer. This cannot be said for Zac. He was prompt in getting back to me, turned up on time for our initial meeting and did not make me wait for his quote.
From the outset Zac’s team worked like trojans whatever the weather and, believe you me, for the first week the heavens opened and stayed that way. Zac would visit regularly to see how things were progressing and would listen patiently whilst I changed the garden plan, suggesting improvements himself sometimes.. Zac would often turn up to make sure his boys left the site clean and tidy at the end of the day.
Throughout the whole process I was kept in the loop and Zac’s unfailing patience was to be admired.

“In late 2012, I had no idea how to begin changing my garden. It was small, narrow and utterly boring. Front and back – it needed a complete makeover. I started with a local provider – professional, courteous, drew some good basic plans and submitted a horrendous quote for carrying out the work. Back to the drawing board. There are plenty of garden design companies out there but Greenfingers Landscaping was recommended personally. I duly arranged to meet Zac and felt an instant rapport with him. He used the plans that I’d had drawn up and we adapted them to suit my requirements at a far more acceptable price, I might add. Yet his choice and quality of materials far outweighed those that had been quoted for previously. The team duly arrived on the pre-arranged date and worked hard in all weathers – combating subzero temperatures as well as driving rain. They never missed a day, working cheerfully and courteously. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Throughout the whole project, Zac was on hand to assist and advise. His help with the planting was above and beyond taking time out of his busy day to accompany me to a local nursery where all my planting requirements were met in one go. Initial consultation with Zac was very positive and a chance to swap ideas and form initial plans. “I engaged the services of Mr Kerin and his team on two occasions to undertake the clearance of my front and rear garden and the laying of ground turf to the rear section. At all times I found them to be polite and professional in manner, punctual in time – keeping with work carried out on the pre-negotiated times.
Prior to undertaking this contract, Mr Kerin inspected the garden areas and gave me a detailed appraisal of what was required as well as the cost for materials and labour and this was the price paid with no hidden extras.
The team arrived at approximately 07.30am on the specified dates and apart from a short lunch break worked consistently until approximately 16.00hrs each day. Whilst on site the team were non-intrusive and left the area clean and tidy removing all rubbish and debris.
