Our silver grey 2-4 mm Cornish Horticultural Grit is produced from 100% Cornish granite chippings and is essential for improving the structure and drainage in soils. With a neutral pH, our Horticultural Grit is ideal for dressing pots, troughs and rockeries and when blended with soil or compost makes a great potting medium for growing Cacti and Succulents, Alpines and Rock Plants as well as seedlings and cuttings.

A bi-product of the Cornish china clay industry, our Horticultural Grit will help to break down heavy soils and when added to soils will increase aeration which in turn will aid water retention which greatly assists strong and healthy root and plant growth.
